Also, about what you wrote Mary about how far America has grown, is completely true! I think that it is just amazing how far we have come in becoming better humanists. I can't imagine myself or my sister working in a small space at such a young age, and for that long. It is mind boggling how this was allowed for as long as it was. People should not be treated that way, ever. This isn't and wasn't the caveman era. The government should have had better morals and ethics to ever believe that should be acceptable. Thankfully, now we have better wages and much more appropriate hours. The law that doesn't allow people to work that are under 15 is way better too. I realize the goal in life is to make money and become successful, but life is about much more serious, and enjoyable things than all materialistic things.
